A StreamStats migration in December of 2017 updated StreamStats version 4 to non-Beta status.

After thorough testing, the StreamStats team is happy to announce it is out of Beta and will serve as the official StreamStats interface going forward. StreamStats now functions in the cloud environment, which allows for faster processing speeds and more reliability for the users.  The Development Team continues to work to restore remaining core functionality that was available in previous versions of Streamstats - such as network navigation, flow estimates from nearby gages, and reporting the flow estimates in the downloaded shapefiles and/or geodatabases. We’re hoping to have these tools functioning within the fiscal year.  In addition to this latest release, a new web presence was developed for StreamStats (https://www.usgs.gov/streamstats/).

The prior version of StreamStats (version 3) is no longer being maintained and will be decommissioned prior to January 31, 2018.
