The processing of Landsat 9 data held during the recent Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS) anomaly has resumed.

A new Calibration Parameter File (CPF) and an updated Response Linearization Look Up Table (RLUT) have been created for the TIRS post-safehold imagery.  Landsat 9 scenes acquired from March 19 to present will again contain both TIRS and the Operational Land Imager (OLI) data as combined (LC09) products.

As a reminder, Landsat 9 data acquired from March 12 – March 18 will remain available as OLI-only (LO09) products.

The Landsat Calibration/Validation Team will continue to monitor the data for any minor or gradual changes, and any additional information will be provided in future Landsat Headlines.
