Detailed Description
Recently, the USGS modernized the format of its discrete water quality and sample data from a USGS-specific output format, called 'qw', to the Water Quality Exchange (WQX) standard in version 3.0 format. This spreadsheet provides a mapping of legacy NWIS 'qw' field names to the new WQX v3.0 field names to help users transfer their legacy workflows to modernized services.
