Islay Hills is a chain of peaks also known as the Nine Sisters (or “Morros”). Known as the Morro Rock-lslay Hill complex, this 25- km-long chain of dacite, trachyte, and rhyolite volcanic necks, plugs, lava domes, and dikes extends southeast from Morro Bay Here, Cerro San Luis Obispo is shown behind the roof line of the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, CA.
