Collecting dragonfly larvae samples at Indiana Dunes National Park

Public participants collect dragonfly larvae samples at Indiana Dunes National Park as part of the Dragonfly Mercury Project. 

Working with public participants means being able to collect data from a range of ecosystems across the country. It also increases awareness of the issues surrounding mercury pollution. Photo credit: NPS
