Detailed Description
The image is a composite of four screenshots comparing four USGS topographic maps. The large screenshot at the top half of the image is an area around Crater Lake, Oregon, with a 1:100K US Topo sample at full resolution.
A solid-line red box focuses on Wizard Island and the surrounding area, half water and half inland and shoreline. The area shown is the reference for the bottom three screenshots which are used to compare design and resolution of the different Topographic map products.
Screenshots in the bottom of the overall image are, from left to right:
