This temperature map shows the land surface temperatures throughout Los Angeles County on Aug. 14, 2020, as measured by NASA's Ecosystem Spaceborne Thermal Radiometer Experiment on Space Station (ECOSTRESS). The hottest temperatures are shown in dark red, with the coolest temperatures in blue.
