eroding coral reef

Detailed Description

An eroding coral reef in the Florida Keys begins to flatten and lose its 3-dimensional structure as degrading corals topple. Erosion of coral reefs and the shallow seafloor in the Florida Keys increases risks from coastal hazards by removing the natural barriers that protect the shoreline from storms and waves.
