Detailed Description
A high water mark was installed on the Cooley Bridge along Furnace Brook in Pittsford, Vermont after a flood event in July 2023. Furnace Brook is a small tributary of Otter Creek. The mud line on the exterior of the bridge is a visual indication of how high the flood waters rose, and the installed marker will indicate this height for reference after the mud washes away.
