Detailed Description

Jenna Brown, USGS scientist, chairs the Nearshore Processes session at the Ocean Sciences 2020 conference. The vulnerability of the coast to sea level rise, extreme storms, and anthropogenic influence is a major societal concern. This session included abstracts focused on physical processes occurring in the nearshore region from the subaerial beach to the shelf break.
