Detailed Description
Lava flows through what was a residential area of Leilani Estates in Hawaii on June 16, 2018. The photo is among the 14,464 taken as “ground truth” data for a 3D elevation mapping mission in areas around the Kilauea caldera. All the imagery is available to the public through the Hazards Data Distribution System.
