Locations of one female and two male shovelnose sturgeon showing movement during a brief reproductive encounter in a specially constructed, experimental mesocosm used to study sturgeon spawning behavior. Sturgeon are tagged with transmitters and their locations are recorded using a three-dimensional acoustic telemetry array.
