Detailed Description
The Water Management Act regulates water use in Massachusetts for sources that use more than 0.1MGD for any 90-day period. Regulation is performed basin-by-basin in 27 major river basins and may include lawn-watering restrictions or other measures to help ensure ample and safe supply during times of drought or higher use periods in the summer.
