Detailed Description
Mendenhall postdoctoral fellow Daniel Ciarletta of the St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center labels a sediment core obtained from a vibracore system on Mullet Key, a barrier island along the Gulf coast of Central Florida. He studies these sediment samples to learn more about the long-term geological evolution of the island.
