The study area, Klamath River, Oregon, and portions of the Klamath Project, Oregon and California. Klamath Straits Drain runs northwest into the Klamath River. Ady Canal flows southwest from the Klamath River into irrigated crop land and the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge.
