Location 1: Oblique aerial photographs at Kure Beach, North Carolina. Oblique aerial photographs collected before (top) and after (bottom) Hurricane Matthew. Storm waves and surge eroded the beach and dunes on either side of the sand bags protecting the buildings on the left. The yellow arrows in each image point to the same features in both photos.
