Detailed Description
The USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center's (PCMSC) small utility boat named Fast Eddy, shown here on the Mokelumne River in northern California. PCMSC physical scientist Cordell Johnson pilots the boat, and PCMSC data management specialist Evan Dailey is ready to help recover instruments that have been sitting in the river collecting data over the span of a month or so.
