South Rim Tour - Shoshone Point

Shoshone Point is located at the end of a gated dirt road leading to a group picnic area on the south rim. The picnic area is normally not in use except on weekends and, therefore, is one of the quieter hiking destinations on the South Rim. The unique pinnacle on the point is a block of Kaibab Limestone.
