Silent, stochastic model animation of what a potential tsunami would look like, generated from the slip distribution in the top figure for a hypothetical subduction earthquake in the Pacific Northwest. Please Note: The tsunami shown here is one of many possible tsunamis, in terms of both the details of the wavefield and the location.
