USGS Mendenhall Fellow Dr. Maria Figueroa measuring dissolved iron in porewaters from seafloor sediments while onboard the R/V Falkor. Dr. Figueroa is a geochemist working with the Global Mineral Resources team at the Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center.
