115 Years Later: The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake

To commemorate the historic northern California earthquake, the USGS Library is hosting a virtual open house and exhibit.

The USGS Library has an online exhibit, 115 Years Later: The 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, with published resources, photographs, interviews, and more. On Thursday, April 15th, at 2pm EST, the Library is hosting a virtual open house event. Guest presenters Belle Philibosian, Ross Stein, and Keith Van Cleave will be sharing information about the effects of the historic earthquake on current hazards study and earthquake geology research as well as highlighting photos from the USGS Library collection. The event is open to the public.
