Pre‐Triassic volcanic rocks of the southern Appalachians

Volcanic rocks occur from Pennsylvania to Alabama in the Piedmont Plateau, Blue Ridge Area, and the Great Valley. They include volcanics of pre‐Cambrian, Cambrian, and Middle Ordovician age.
