The USGS National Seismic Hazard Model (NSHM) Project is hosting this event and invites seismic hazard modeling developers and users to participate and share feedback. The NSHMs for Guam & the Northern Mariana Islands and American Samoa are in early stages of development and this workshop will serve as an opportunity to share the expectations, scope, and planned project development for these regions. These 2026 NSHMs will serve as updates of the inaugural models that were published in 2012 (Petersen & others, 2012 and Mueller & others, 2012).
