August Schultz
August is a geographer with a focus on python programming at the Oklahoma-Texas Water Science Center.
August specializes in geospatial data analysis, data processing pipelines, and remote sensing, primarily using python, R, and platforms such as high-performance computing (HPC), AWS and Google cloud computing, Google Earth Engine, QGIS, and ArcGIS.
August is a graduate of the Environmental Observation and Informatics M.S. Program at the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, which focuses on spatial analysis, remote sensing, and environmental modeling. Prior that he graduated with his B.S. in both chemistry and environmental sciences, also at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
