Christopher T Carter
Since joining the US Geological Survey in October 2010, I have gained extensive experience in surface water and water quality fieldwork. My responsibilities have included operating multi-parameter meters and assisting with the construction of gages and cableway.
While pursuing my degree, I undertook an independent study project focused on the restoration of Coleman Creek. Additionally, I completed a summer internship with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in Camden, where I worked alongside a fisheries biologist. After graduating, I further developed my skills through a two-year position in the laboratory at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Research Institute. I am currently employed as a hydrologic technician at the US Geological Survey’s Arkansas Water Science Center and am committed to building a long, fulfilling career with the organization.
