Hallie Fischman
Hallie Fischman is an ecologist at the Wetland and Aquatic Research Center in Gainesville, FL.
Hallie’s research evaluates the impacts of altered hydrology, sea level rise, and saltwater intrusion in the Everglades to inform ecosystem management and restoration. Before joining USGS, she studied community ecology in salt marsh and sand dune habitats in Northeast Florida. Hallie’s research interests include coastal and wetland ecosystem restoration, with a focus on designing resilient projects that incorporate ecological processes.
