Joseph M Gravino, Jr.
I am currently a USGS/NAGT Intern at the Lake Michigan Ecological Research Station in Chesterton, IN. I am conducting extensive field sampling, lab processing, data entry, and data management for a large-scale multi-year research project. The current project focuses on interactions between Cladophora, Dreissenid mussels, and round gobies in connection with many different environmental factors.
Hello! My name is Joey Gravino and I am originally from Upstate New York. I grew up near the Adirondacks hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors, so I have always had an appreciation for our natural world. I attended college at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I got my Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and discovered my love for wildlife science. I love learning about and interacting with wildlife and how they interact with both humans and the environment. I have experience with wildlife field sampling, management techniques, and some statistical analyses.
