Michael C. Kelley
Michael is the Administrative Officer for the Western Fisheries Research Center. He works remotely and spends his spare time camping, hiking, working on his fleet of jalopies, and exploring with his dog, Emmylou Harris.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Michael spent his formative years there before joining the U.S. Air Force in the early 1990s. In the U.S. Air Force, he became a crew chief (aircraft mechanic) on the U-2, stationed in California and South Korea, with deployments to England, France and Sicily. Upon leaving the Air Force, Michael finished his Bachelor’s degree and completed over 15 years of experience in administration before joining the Western Fisheries Research Center.
