Michelle Leung
Michelle Leung is a Physical Scientist with the Geosciences and Environmental Change Science Center.
I joined USGS in 2022 as a Physical Scientist to work in the laboratory assisting various projects. Prior to joining USGS I was an undergraduate honors student at the University of Colorado Boulder where I studied ecology and environmental studies. During my time there, I assisted various projects involving environmental biogeochemistry and collaborated with Boulder OSMP to investigate the mitigation practices of Tall Oatgrass. My interests lie in using data science to understand human interactions with ecosystems and impacts of climate change through research.
