This position is based in Flagstaff, Arizona with the majority of fieldwork at a large solar energy facility in the Mojave Desert of Nevada. The primary field season will run mid-March through May. Research activities include plant identification, soil sampling, and careful data collection as part of a research crew in a rugged and challenging desert environment. This is a seasonal position meaning the employee cannot work more than 180 days or 1039 hours, whichever comes first, in a calendar year. The position can be renewed for multiple years.
