Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF)

The eOPF is an electronic version of the paper Official Personnel Folder and contains records that document your federal career. Records in eOPF include notification of personnel actions (SF-50s), position descriptions, health and life insurance election forms, designation of beneficiary forms, and much more.

What’s new with eOPF?

You may have noticed a new login screen because the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) now requires multifactor authentication to sign into the system. You now use your Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card and Personal Identification Number (PIN) to log into the system. You can no longer log in using an eOPF username and password.

What if I already log into eOPF using my PIV?

If you already log into eOPF with your PIV card and PIN, you don’t need to do anything further.

How do I log into eOPF using my PIV?

eOPF web address: https://eopf.opm.gov/doi/

Please follow the steps outlined here if your PIV card isn’t registered with eOPF.
