Detailed Description
The Centennial Bridge is across the Mississippi River and connects Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa, on U.S. Hwy 67. The five arches of this bridge represent the Quad Cities (Davenport and Bettendorf, in southeastern Iowa and Rock Island, Moline and East Moline in northwestern Illinois). The two larger arches represent Rock Island, IL, and Davenport, IA, while the three smaller arches represent the cities of Bettendorf, IA, Moline, IL, and East Moline, IL.
