Detailed Description
Southwest Biological Science Center (SBSC) research garden hoop houses at the USGS Flagstaff campus. The hoop houses block natural precipitation, so the only water received is from treatments. Timing the watering and the amount of water allows scientists to identify the specific drought conditions that determine plant survival and how plant populations differ in their drought tolerance.
