Introduction On July 5, 2002, starting at about 8 a.m., the southern half of the eye of Typhoon Chata'an passed directly over the northern part of the island of Guam. Estimated use of water in the Tennessee River watershed in 2000 and projections of water use to 2030

Estimates indicate that after increases in water withdrawals from 1965 to 1980 in the Tennessee River watershed, withdrawals declined from 1980 to 1985 and remained steady from 1985 to 1995. Introduction Saipan has an area of 48 mi2 and is the largest of the 14 islands in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI).
