Geology and zinc-lead-barite deposits in the area east of Cuba City, Wisconsin

The current study of the Wisconsin-Illinois-Iowa zinc-lead district (fig. 1) was begun in 1942, with the major emphasis placed on detailed mapping of geologic structure and ore deposits.  Preliminary reports for several areas in the mining district have been prepared, and the present study of the are east of Cuba City, Wis., is a continuation of that program.
