The Advisory Council for Climate Adaptation Science (ACCAS) will hold a virtual meeting on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:30am - 5:00pm EDT. The meeting will be open to the public. 

Public attendees must register in advance (see below).

The Advisory Council for Climate Adaptation Science (ACCAS) advises the Secretary of the Interior on the operations of the Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs). The next full-Council meeting of the ACCAS will be held virtually on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:30am - 5:00pm EDT, via Zoom, and will be open to the public.

Agenda topics will cover a) ACCAS subcommittee progress to date, b) subcommittee recommendations for full ACCAS consideration and potential action, and c) next steps and priorities for subcommittees. Registration: 

All public attendees (non-members) MUST register by August 21, 2024. To register for virtual participation, please complete and submit a Virtual Registration Form. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email from ZoomGov containing instructions for joining the meeting.


Public Comments:

There will be an opportunity for public comment during the meeting. Depending on the number of people who wish to speak and the time available, the time for individual comments may be limited. Written comments may also be sent for consideration. If you would like to submit a public comment in advance of the meeting, please fill out the ACCAS Public Comment Form. All comments will be shared with Council members.
