Vegetation, Water and Climate Dynamics

At EROS we use satellite, climate, and environmental data to study the health and extent of crops, forests, mangroves, grasslands, and other types of vegetation, and to document how plant communities are changing over time. We work with other agencies to map water resources, monitor water use, and assess the risk of drought in locations across the country and around the world.
