The Land Treatment Digital Library is a dynamic system to enter, store, retrieve, and analyze Federal land treatment data. This factsheet explains how the system works.
The Land Treatment Digital Library (LTDL) and The Land Treatment Exploration Tool (LTET) are practical resources for land managers planning restoration and rehabilitation projects on public lands.
Land Treatment Digital Library (LTDL)
The LTDL is a database system that catalogs legacy land treatment information on Bureau of Land Management lands. Land treatments include activities such as the removal or alteration of plant biomass, seeding burned areas, and herbicide applications. The USGS gathers this information and makes it available for land managers and scientists to make more informed decisions.

The Land Exploration Tool (LTET)
The Land Treatment Exploration Tool is designed for use by resource managers during the land treatment planning stage. This web tool summarizes environmental characteristics of planned treatment areas and facilitates adaptive management practices by comparing those characteristics to similar legacy treatments.
