WaterWatch Real-time streamflow data for Kansas

WaterWatch displays maps, graphs, and tables describing real-time, recent, and past streamflow conditions for the United States, including flood and droughts. Real-time information generally is updated on an hourly basis.

Hawaiʻi Streamflow--current conditions

Continuously recording surface-water stations are stations with equipment that automatically record and store data at specific intervals. Many stations are equipped with telemetry so that information can be electronically transmitted and displayed on the internet in real time.

Surface-water data for Kansas

Real-time, daily, peak-flow, field measurements, and statistics of current and historical data that describe stream levels, streamflow (discharge), reservoir and lake levels, surface-water quality, and rainfall in Kansas. Surface-water data are collected and stored as either discrete field-water-level measurements or as continuous time-series data from automated recorders.

Concentrations and associated method information for pharmaceutical contaminants analyzed in Fourmile Creek near Ankeny, Iowa, USA during the October 2012 to October 2014 wastewater treatment facility pre/post-closure assessment

The USGS conducted a combined wastewater facility pre/post-closure groundwater assessment adjacent to an effluent-impacted reach of Fourmile Creek, Ankeny, Iowa, USA. This data release includes pharmaceutical concentration data for Fourmile Creek determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and HPLC-MS/MS during the period October 2012 to October 2014, along with associated HPLC-MS/MS a

Data Supporting The Geochemical Atlas of Alaska, 2016

A rich legacy of geochemical data produced since the early 1960s covers the great expanse of Alaska, and there are significant opportunities for applying this information. To maximize the spatial density and extent of data coverage for statewide mapping of element distributions, we compiled and integrated analyses of more than 175,000 sediment and soil samples from three major, separate sources:

Migratory Bird Avian Influenza Sampling; Yukon Kuskokwim Delta, Alaska, 2015

Data set containing avian influenza sampling information for spring and summer waterbirds on the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta, 2015. Data contains sample ID, species common name, age and sex, collection data and location, and laboratory specific data used to identify presence and absence of avian influenza viruses.

Microplastics in 29 Great Lakes tributaries (2014-15)

This dataset describes the quantity and morphology of floating microplastics in 29 Great Lakes tributaries in 6 states. Samples were collected in spring 2014 spring 2015. Each tributary was sampled three to four times, capturing low-flow and runoff-event conditions. Sampling and analysis methods are described in the .xml metadata file. These data are interpreted in a journal article (pending).

USGS National Assessment of Oil and Gas Project - Uinta-Piceance Province, Mancos Formation Assessment Units

The Assessment Unit is the fundamental unit used in the National Assessment Project for the assessment of undiscovered oil and gas resources. The Assessment Unit is defined within the context of the higher-level Total Petroleum System. The Assessment Unit is shown herein as a geographic boundary interpreted, defined, and mapped by the geologist responsible for the province and incorporates a set o

EAARL Coastal Topography-Chandeleur Islands, Louisiana, 4-5 September 2010: Seamless (Bare Earth and Submerged)

This XYZ dataset, prepared by the U.S. Geological Survey St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center, provides lidar-derived seamless (bare earth and submerged) topography for the Chandeleur Islands in Louisiana. Elevation measurements were acquired by the first-generation Experimental Advanced Airborne Research Lidar (EAARL) on September 4 and 5, 2010. The data were collected as part of a se

Marine Geophysical Data -- Point Arena to Cape Mendocino

This data release includes marine geophysical data collected on three research cruises conducted in 2010 and 2012 between Point Arena and Cape Mendocino. The overall goal of this research is to better understand the northernmost section of the San Andreas Fault (SAF). In 2010, the USGS collected seismic-reflection profiles crossing the SAF at 1 km spacing from Point Arena to Fort Bragg (survey B-5

High-resolution geophysical data collected along the Delmarva Peninsula 2015, U.S. Geological Survey Field Activity 2015-001-FA

The Delmarva Peninsula is a 220-kilometer-long headland, spit, and barrier island complex that was significantly affected by Hurricane Sandy in the fall of 2012. The U.S. Geological Survey conducted cruises during the summers of 2014 and 2015 to map the inner continental shelf of the Delmarva Peninsula using geophysical and sampling techniques to define the geologic framework that governs coastal
