A deep-tow geophysical study of a small ridge along the north end of the San Clemente fault, informally termed Kimki Ridge by Arne Junger and J.G. Vedder (unpub. data, 1979), was conducted in April 1976 using the R/V Melville of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
